Allana was chosen to be a part of Australia at Rugby Sevens 2013, but subsequent knee injuries kept her off the field. It took several years to Allana to return back into playing in the league. Allana was the first woman to play in a rugby league game in 2015 and played in the game for New South Wales when they played Queensland. Allana has added radio to her repertoire performing regularly with the most popular Continuous Call Team on 2GB. Allana Ferguson is a qualified educator outside the sport world. Allana Ferguson enjoys the rare privilege of representing Australia in three distinct sporting events - Rugby Sevens, Rugby League and Touch. Allana Ferguson, a Jillaroos athlete who played an extensive period of rugby league, has had to end her career early due to her tearing her ACL for the fourth time. Ferguson 25 had torn her ACL in the same spot between age 15-17, and then 20. After the fourth tear she knew it was time to put an end to her. Ferguson is JILLAROOS's player who had to retire before the end of the season due to a 4th accident to her left ACL. Ferguson, the JILLAROOS' playmaker, announced that news via The Courier Mail this week after suffering a niggle while training back in November.
